Applicants Wanted! Small Business Grant Opportunities Explained at Collins St. Neighborhood Meeting
The Collins St. Neighborhood Council and Joliet City Center Partnership (JCCP) are teaming up to provide more information to small business owners located within the Joliet City Center special service area (SSA) about available business grants. Attendees will learn the specific qualifications of these grants and how to apply. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24 at the Spanish Community Center, 309 N. Eastern Ave.
Each year the Joliet City Center Partnership provides development incentive programs to qualifying businesses in order to attract and retain business activity, increase residential density and encourage business and property owners to expand, renovate and beautify interior and exterior spaces.
New this year, the JCCP is also offering beautification grants. These micro-grants are flexible in nature and intended to assist businesses in making specific improvements resulting in the enhancement of the neighborhood or property appearance.
