NORTH BOUND RAYNOR AVENUE STREET CLOSURE AT SIX CORNERS TO BEGIN JULY 30, 2025
Joliet, IL – As part of the Plainfield Road Water Main Improvement Project, new pavement must be constructed at the Six Corners intersection of Plainfield Road / Black Road and Ruby Street / N. Raynor Avenue.
The work to construct new pavement at the Six Corners intersection will require the closure of north bound traffic on Raynor Avenue from Mason Avenue to Black Road. Black Road and Ruby Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Plainfield Road will also be reduced to one lane in each direction.
Local detours will be in place during this stage of construction. This stage of work is scheduled to begin in the morning of July 30th and be completed by August 6th. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes for the duration of the work.
