New Platforms Aim to Keep Residents and Stakeholders
Informed About Key City Projects
JOLIET, Ill. — The City of Joliet Economic Development Department today announced the launch of a new Economic Development newsletter, part of a broader initiative to enhance communication with residents, businesses, and community stakeholders.
The monthly newsletter will serve as the department’s primary vehicle for sharing in-depth updates on major projects, development activity, business openings, and milestones shaping Joliet’s economic future. Subscribers will receive timely insights into the city’s progress, strategic initiatives, and opportunities for engagement. A Spanish version of the newsletter will also be available for the community.
To further expand access to information, the department has also refreshed its Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages. These platforms will provide quick updates, announcements, and snapshots of ongoing development work in the community. All posts will be shared in both English and Spanish as part of the City’s commitment to accessible communication.
“Our goal is to provide clear, accessible ways for residents and stakeholders to stay informed about the exciting economic momentum happening throughout Joliet,” said Paulina Martínez, Economic Development Director. “The updated newsletter and social media pages offer multiple paths for people to engage with the City’s progress.”
