JOLIET, Ill. — The Northwest Frontage Road at Caton Farm Road and I-55 will be closed on Saturday, August 8 from 6:00 a.m. to noon to allow the City of Joliet Roadways Department to cut back vegetation along the curve just north of Caton Farm Road.
The work is being performed to improve visibility and enhance safety for motorists traveling through the area. The closure is expected to last approximately six hours, weather permitting.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and allow additional travel time while work is underway.
