Home MenuBids & Requests for Proposals
All Requests for Bids are posted on the City’s e-procurement platform, Euna Procurement (Bonfire), accessible through the Joliet Bonfire Portal.
Vendors interested in participating in upcoming opportunities must create a Bonfire account. For assistance, please refer to the Bidding Process page.
It is the responsibility of all bidders and proposers to regularly check the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) platform for current solicitations, addenda, and notifications. Vendors may also enable automated alerts in Bonfire to receive updates and new opportunities.
The City of Joliet does not maintain a bidder’s list.
All formally advertised bids are opened and read publicly at the City of Joliet Municipal Building, 150 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60432. The date, time, and location of each bid opening are provided in the Legal Advertisement Notice, also posted on Bonfire.
All bids and proposals must be submitted electronically through the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) platform via the Joliet Bonfire Portal before the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
After bids have been opened and read publicly, they are tabulated and evaluated by City staff. A recommendation for award is then presented to the Joliet City Council.
Certain solicitations may require bid or performance bonds and/or prequalification. These requirements will be clearly outlined in the bid documents.
For bids involving materials, freight costs must be included in the total bid price unless otherwise specified. No additional freight charges will be accepted after submission.
Important Notes:
- Bid results represent “as read” submittals at the time of opening and do not constitute an award.
- Formal bid tabulations for contracts (excluding lump-sum bids) will be posted on Euna Procurement (Bonfire) following City Council approval.
Below are ARCHIVED past RFP bids from the City’s website. All new Requests for Bids are posted on the City’s e-procurement platform, Euna Procurement (Bonfire), accessible through the Joliet Bonfire Portal.
