In accordance with and pursuant to the Code of Ordinances for the City of Joliet Sec. 8-355 et seq: “Any responsible party/beneficiary or their designee shall perform an inspection of the property that is the security for the Deed of Trust or Mortgage within 10 days of recording a notice of default with the Recorder’s Office. If the property is found to be vacant or shows evidence of vacancy, it is, by this division, deemed abandoned and the responsible party/beneficiary shall, within 10 days of the inspection, register the property. ”, as well as:

“The responsible party/beneficiary or their designee shall perform inspections every 2 (two) weeks to verify that the requirements of this division are being met.”
