Join the City of Joliet on Saturday, December 13, 2025 for the city-wide Santa Send-Off. Joliet police, fire and public works vehicles will escort Santa through Joliet to say good-bye to all of our residents before heading back to the North Pole before Christmas Eve. 

WHAT: A small parade of City vehicles escorting Santa through Joliet

WHEN: Saturday, December 13, 2025 | 10 a.m. Start until complete*
*estimated duration of driving time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes

WHERE: All of Joliet! The route winds through Joliet, beginning on the east side of town and working its way west. Location updates will be provided on the City of Joliet's Facebook page.

Starting Point: Intersection of Woodruff & Draper, heading west

Ending Point: Intersection of Ridge & Theodore Street

While you wait to see Santa, be sure to tune into our friends at 88.7 WCSF-The Spirit of Christmas for a special Santa Send-Off themed program from 10-11:30 a.m. on the day of the event.

One of the area’s finest holiday traditions, the Spirit of Christmas offers commercial-free holiday music and is broadcast 24 hours a day from Thanksgiving through January 2. This festive programming is presented annually by WCSF 88.7 FM, the student-run radio station at the University of St. Francis.
