Welcome to Joliet! On behalf of the Joliet City Council and City staff we are glad you have chosen to make Joliet your home. We are the third largest city in Illinois but still enjoy a small town atmosphere! Our City government takes pride in offering quality services and strives to be responsive to its residents.
Joliet residents enjoy a broad range of year-round activities. We are home to Harrah’s and Hollywood Casinos, Joliet Slammers Baseball Team, the beautiful Rialto Theatre, Joliet Area Historical Museum, Chicagoland Speedway, Rt. 66 Raceway and the Inwood, Wedgewood, and Woodruff Golf Courses, just to name a few.
